Alaska SPCA

Featured Nonprofit for Quarter 2, 2024

The Alaska SPCA is a non-profit organization that has been promoting animal welfare since 1955. Our fundraising efforts are mainly focused on the local community and are more grassroots in nature. However, we are committed to providing the best possible care for animals in need. We work tirelessly to rescue, treat, and rehome animals, ensuring that they receive the love and attention they deserve. We take pride in being part of the community and are grateful to all our donors who support our mission. Please note that we are not affiliated with the ASPCA.

The Alaska SPCA provides:

  • Low-cost veterinary care for dogs, cats & rabbits
  • Shelter & adoption for abandoned & homeless cats & dogs
  • Pet Resource Center
  • Mobile/Rural Outreach Clinics

What your donations do:

  • Allows us to keep clinic prices low so that everyone can afford vet care
  • Provides support for hardship situations so that no pet suffers needlessly
  • Funds our Adoption Center and saves hundreds of pet lives annually
  • Provides medical care for abandoned and homeless dogs and cats
